I first knew I loved travel when I was a little girl...
Every time my family went to the airport to pick up a visiting relative, I felt a surge of energy as I watched the people with their suitcases, wondering where they were going or where they had just been. This same excitement sparked every time we traveled, with our trips turning into my fondest memories. Though I always loved travel, it was after my first cruise to Alaska when I was bit by the "travel bug". I researched obsessively when planning each trip, and my own travel advisor would half-jokingly mention that the desk next to hers was available. This sparked my interest in travel as a career and I enrolled in a community college program, focused on the travel business. After two years of full time study, I started my travel consulting business. And the rest, as they say, is history…
My clients are empty nesters who have the freedom to explore the destinations that have always been on their bucket list, groups of friends that want to travel together, parents who want to give their kids the opportunity to understand different cultures through unique experiences, grandparents who want to celebrate a milestone celebration by treating their family to a once-in-a-lifetime trip together, and people who understand that a hotel offers an experience beyond a clean bed and shower.
As an expert advisor, I have completed years of training including my Master Cruise Counselor certification from Cruise Lines International Association, the Virtuoso Voyages Specialist Program and several Destination Specialist Courses. I am always deepening my knowledge-base by attending conferences and training sessions on a continual basis. Most important is my network of Virtuoso partners and colleagues within the travel industry, who I work closely with to create remarkable experiences for my treasured clients.
